This event, organized by China Energy Engineering Group International and the New Energy International Investment Alliance, and hosted by Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd., brought together a diverse group of guests from government departments, embassies, industry associations, financial institutions, and leading enterprises.
The gathering centered around the theme of "Empowering Dual Carbon Goals for a Smart Future," aiming to explore new paths for green low-carbon development and share experiences in digital transformation to enhance international cooperation in the new energy sector. Keynote speakers such as Li Lina, the Chief Accountant of China Energy; Wei Xiaowei, the Director General of the National Energy Administration's International Cooperation Department; Du Guogong, the Deputy Secretary of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission Research Center; and Wang Yijun, the Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission’s Belt and Road Construction Promotion Center, offered their insights. Ambassadors from South Africa (Xie Shengwen) and Senegal (Ibrahima Sila), along with representatives from various organizations including the CAEPCO Vice President Shi Yonghong, the PV Industry Association Chairman Cao Renxian, JA Solar CEO Yang Aiqing, and Huawei VP Fang Liangzhou, also participated and shared their perspectives.
During the event, Li Lina emphasized that since the alliance's establishment in 2018, it has made remarkable progress in accelerating resource integration among leading companies across industries, with expanding cooperation mechanisms yielding tangible results. She expressed hope for the further development of a cooperative network that shares benefits, promotes technological innovation, and creates a fair market environment.
Wei Xiaowei noted that on the tenth anniversary of China's new energy security strategy - "Four Revolutions & One Cooperation" - the global energy landscape is evolving rapidly, presenting both challenges and opportunities for clean energy collaboration.
Indonesian Minister Plenipotentiary Pei Lianjie stated that Indonesia is committed to achieving carbon peak and net-zero goals through renewable energy transition, given its rich natural resources. The event also featured strategic partnership signing sessions between China Energy Engineering Group with Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd., where key insights on investment traction within the global power sectors were shared. A high-level roundtable discussion allowed experts to discuss maintaining China's leadership in new energy technology while exploring innovative business models leveraging digital technologies throughout project lifecycles.
At the conclusion of the alliance meeting, Ye Hui presented a work report highlighting the efforts in membership expansion focused on electric vehicles, lithium batteries, and solar products, while facilitating deeper discussions among members about unlocking the potential for renewable development worldwide. This event serves as a crucial platform for the new energy industry, promoting international cooperation and the pursuit of green and low-carbon development.
