On May 17, the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued the "Implementation Plan for the Continuous Improvement of Air Quality in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region", proposing to promote high-quality ultra-low emission transformation of key industries such as steel, coking, cement and coal-fired boilers.

On May 17, the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued the "Implementation Plan for the Continuous Improvement of Air Quality in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region", proposing to promote high-quality ultra-low emission transformation of key industries such as steel, coking, cement and coal-fired boilers.
By the end of 2025, more than 80% of the steel industry's production capacity will complete ultra-low emission transformation; the coal-fired boilers (including electricity) with more than 65 steam tons/hour in use have basically completed the ultra-low emission transformation, and the emission limits refer to the ultra-low emission transformation requirements of coal-fired power plants; the coking industry has fully completed the ultra-low emission transformation. By the end of 2027, the steel industry will fully complete the ultra-low emission transformation. By the end of 2028, the cement industry will basically complete the ultra-low emission transformation.
