New value: Business oriented indicator system becomes the driver of transformation

Ye Rongchun, Director of Huawei's Intelligent Operations and Maintenance Business Department, stated that with the continuous deepening of transformation, new value and indicator systems are needed to measure the effectiveness of transformation. In the "New Generation Intelligent Operation and Maintenance White Paper 2.0", a new value system and measurement methodology for business centric operation and maintenance are proposed. The new value system starts from business results and measures transformation effectiveness from efficiency dimensions to revenue, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

New technologies: Emerging technologies such as GenAI, EDNS, and DTN have become accelerators for transformation

In White Paper 2.0, Huawei enhances precise real-time perception and simulation of complex scenes through DTN (Digital Twin Network); Implement business impact assessment through the EDNS (User Expected Service Not Met) algorithm framework to support resource investment and network recovery priority decision-making; Empowering operation and maintenance roles and scenarios through GenAI, constructing role based Copilot and scenario based AI agents.

New applications: Business reduction and other new applications become incubators for transformation scenarios

Huawei has incubated new application scenarios using these emerging technologies. In the To C scenario, based on technologies such as EDNS and Indonesian XL Axiata, we will build scenario based services for business loss reduction and viability preservation. In the To B scenario, we collaborate with China Mobile to conduct correlation analysis between network and business status through active network fault monitoring and GenAI based operation and maintenance assistants. The new application reduces revenue loss while improving user satisfaction.

The new generation intelligent operation and maintenance white paper 2.0 provides an evolutionary direction and valuable practice for deepening the transformation of digital operation and maintenance. In the future, Huawei will continue to innovate in the field of intelligent operation and maintenance transformation with TM Forum and global operators, accelerate the transformation of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence into real operation and maintenance capabilities, and create more commercial value.
